BOLE:
More suburbs get streetlights

The Bole district is gradually realizing the desired boost in development, as the assembly has yearned to install some streetlights in almost all suburbs around Bole.

This was strategically geared towards improving security on the streets of such communities, and also to forestall the incidence of criminal activities in the district entirely.

Alhaji Samson Abudu, District Chief Executive for the area, hinted this in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com.

The DCE however pledged the Assembly’s commitment to push the streetlighting project further in the communities which have not yet obtain street light facilities.

However, the exercise forms part of government’s street lighting programme under the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development(MLGRD) being executed in all the Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Assemblies (MMDA’s).
